- New section in my File Type FAQ for audio files. It was mostly to give some links for those trying to figure out Shorten (shn) and FLAC (free lossless audio codec) files, but does include some info on several others.
- Whats your favorite client? That's what we are asking all our visitors. Take 5 seconds and go vote in our poll. Results will be added to the clients page when the poll ends. And let me know if I am missing your client - I'll add it to the list.
- Do you hate it when websites open links in new windows on you? Me too. Thats why I removed all the new window tags for my external links. Instead anywhere you see the
graphic next to a link, it means that link is on an external site. Have your browser open it in a new window or tab if you wish, or if not thats your choice too.

SuprNova.org went down a few months back. Then
LokiTorrent closed its doors after that. So if you are looking for different torrent sites after seeing your favorite one shutdown or go offline simply visit one of the BT links sites listed on the links page.
- The beta testing for eXeem (partially developed by the team at
suprnova.org) has now gone public. This is semi-independent of BT now. You can read my take on it. If you don't want to read and just want to try it, check out
eXeem's official site. Please note that eXeem contains adware including Cydoor. Update: Version 0.21 is testing a different ad system, and does not contain cydoor.

BBC Article about a group sharing Windows XP's Service Pack 2 to show the merits of the file sharing system. To avoid overload of their servers Microsoft has been limiting downloads over a period of a few weeks, while BT could allow nearly everyone to connect at once.

Slyck.com points out that while BitTorrent keeps growing, the network and/or its users may soon be the next target of anti-piracy groups.

Internet News reports that alternate OS Lindows is trying to save its bandwidth by offering half off its price if users download via BitTorrent.
